Summary/Abstract: The humanistic idea of love for what is human is all about the value of existence ofpeople capable of loving and of the value of the reality created by them. The complexof those values itself shapes the object of human love. Regarding this the authorconducts an analysis of the values in the following four groups of human features:1) “constant” features in a human being, i.e., either constantly appearing or thosewhich might get developed in the human being – which are relatively universal incharacter; 2) “constant” features in men which don’t appear in all human individuals and are not supposed to appear in everyone but are appreciated when they are inaccordance with themselves or with some other characteristics of the given humanindividual; 3) features showing the spiritual outer and inner opulence of a man, determining the human being’s unity in spite of many antinomies appearing in it;4) human nature features describing mankind as “individuality” and not “uniformity”.The author also discusses the pedagogical aspects of love in connection with what ishuman, taking into account the humanistic meaning of pedagogical activity andhumanistic ways of applying them in human life – in an educationist’s and her/hisfollowers’ lives. It makes a contribution to pedagogical wisdom.
