Summary/Abstract: To the conclusion that any creativity changing of the official pattern were forbidden. This also referred to obituaries. Since a lot of official words were used in obituaries, this genre could have been considered highly politicized. There is no room for an individual or intimate tone. Ubiquitous political meaning could have been noticed instead. Contemporary Polish and German obituaries do not contain such key words. Now the vocabulary is expressive and universal, not connected with any ideology.
