Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is to present some examples of word formation in the speech of the trilingual speakers of German, Polish and the Russian local dialect of the Masurian Old Believers. The lexeme were registered during the field research in the linguistic and cultural borderland in the period 2007-2015. The article is also going to present the phenomenon of the language contact observed by a bilingual child. Multilingual speakers create words of diverse word classes and by diverse participation of the grammatical and lexical morphemes, that could be an object of further exploration.
