Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the paper is to offer a concise outlook on the works of Polish journalists in Romania over the span of almost three decades; from the fall of the communist regime in 1989 to the present day. The paper discusses the literary response (in both professional and amateur media) to the works of outstanding Polish writers of the so-called factual narrative; translated into Romanian. Among the Polish authors discussed there are: Hanna Krall; Ryszard Kapuściński; Andrzej Stasiuk; Piotr Pogorzelski; Mariusz Szczygieł; Małgorzata Rejmer; Lidia Ostałowska; Filip Springer as well as Jacek Hugo-Bader.
