Summary/Abstract: The text is an attempt to characterize the mutual relations of theatre pedagogy and educational constructivism (inspired by Piaget’s works) in the education process. Assumptions of theatre pedagogy supported by constructivist theories transferred to didactics give the opportunity to create a creative space focused on the skill of critical thinking, developing reflection and expressing their own opinions through the participants’ use of the language of the theatre. The main features common to theatre pedagogy and constructivism are: the idea of experience, stimulating (self-)reflection, multi‑perspective, democratization of the process and appreciation of crisis and conflict.
