Summary/Abstract: The images of the social world functioning in the public space differ not only on the level of directly expressed content, but also on the basis of which rules have been used in their construction and on what constructions they are consequently supported. The purpose of the text is to present three types of such constructs. In their description, the distinction between the map and landscape is used as two cognitive perspectives from which a man can describe social reality.
