Summary/Abstract: Class observation plays a key role in the initial and continuing teacher training and teacher evaluation. For sure; the formative and research uses; within a reflexive approach; make the observation of classes a useful tool for the development of teaching competence. In the context of teaching Spanish as a foreign language; class observation links with the concepts of action research; collaboration and reflection. Thus; the class observation serves both expert teachers and novice to identify areas for improvement; critically reflect on their teaching work through collaborative projects class observation; and create scientific knowledge in the areas of Pedagogy and teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language thanks to the rigorous analysis of the data; obtained through various techniques and instruments of observation.
