Summary/Abstract: The current article is devoted to the investigation of problems which Marina Tsvetaeva’s poetry translation attempts may encounter. The article offers reflections on the process of translation of M. Tsvetaeva’s poetry into English, Polish and Ukrainian and highlights the main issues associated with it. In particular, the matter of translating Russian-language poetry into English is considered. Several poems are analyzed in the context of their translations into the aforementioned languages, and my own English-language translations of some of Tsvetaeva’s poems are proposed.
