From the network to the notebook Social media and required reading

Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on showing the didactic potential of the media, especially social media in the work with required reading lists. It presents recent research findings concerning the use of multimedia by Polish literature teachers. Moreover, it includes photos documenting the appearance of the class in one of the British educational institutions, which became the inspiration to create work sheets for students from primary school, using digital forms: Google (search engine), Allegro (auction website), SMS communication and Instagram. The above-mentioned didactic tool has been tested in three schools, and the results — along with the most representative examples — were described in the article. Students’ works are supported by tasks prepared by Polish philology students — future teachers.
