Summary/Abstract: Elections in Poland, which took place in the years 2014–2015 were a quite challenge for the electoral administration. Because of failure of the computer system, a high level of invalid votes and delays in reporting the results, some political circles claim that municipal elections of November 2014 were manipulated. The amendment to the Electoral Code and the appointment of new members of the National Electoral Commission partially restored confidence in the institution of elections, but it seems that new parliament has to carry on the reforms that are necessary for electoral management bodies. This article indicates which the legal provisions need to be revised to restore fully public confidence in the institutions of democracy in Poland.
