Summary/Abstract: Election in Poland is one of the forms of Nation’s sovereignty principle, the most important form of participation in public life. Its key aspect is the election campaign, during which there is a presentation of election programmes and candidates. There is no doubt that the main goal of the entities participating in the elections is to get the best election result, which is usually associated with filling the office, or obtaining by a committee the mandates of members of representative bodies. No less important issue related to running election campaigns, besides indicating the time frame and mechanisms used for its conduct, is to establish the rules under which election campaigns may be funded. The legislator pointed out in the Election Code the sources of funding election campaigns by electoral committees, expenditure limits, and financial representatives’ tasks.
