Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the impact of politics on education. Moreover, it characterizes the political and structural conditionings of educational policy. The author also gives examples of their impact on the Polish school system after 1989. The first main issue which is analyzed in the article is the propositions made by candidates who started in the presidential election in 2015 and concerned solving educational problems in Poland. Yet another important issue is the propositions of the same kind according to the 8 all-Polish campaign committees which started in the parliamentary election in 2015. The author presents the description of the electoral projects and tries to draw the conclusions.
