Summary/Abstract: The research materials include presidential debate which took place on 21 May 2015 between two candidates for the office of President of the Republic of Poland, Bronisław Komorowski and Andrzej Duda, and it was reported in the television stations TVN, TVN24 and TVN24 Business and the World. The author, taking into account the persuasiveness of speech, tries to identify these levels rhetorical theory in which one can discern eristic dialectic (invention sphere, disposition, elocution, pronuntiatio).
