Summary/Abstract: The impact of the scientific atmosphere of the Main School was reflected not only in the great projects of professors and students. Also of interest are the actions and concepts, that existed on the outskirts of the Main School, in less visible or indirect relationships with school. To and from the school ran the personal connections leading to different applications of cognitive passion and social usability of specialist. The example of Konrad Brandel shows, how variously and differently the Main School could be for the people a point of reference for their daily activities, for their recognition of professional work as a creative and cognitive structure.
