Summary/Abstract: This paper presents research on Romanian architects who emigrated to Israel. It is about pioneer women architects like Elzy Lazăr and Dora Gad who previously studied in Vienna, but also about Marcel Janco, who founded an artist village in Israel after contributing to International style heritage in Bucharest through both buildings and writings. Notably in Israel before becoming established Dora Gad worked with another architect with Romanian background, Oskar Kaufmann. Research methods included consulting apart of scientific literature and site visits also literary writings, visiting exhibitions, looking to the paintings, and drawing story maps. The work is at its begin and further steps are comparative architecture and looking to architecture in games.
