Summary/Abstract: The aim of the report is to analyze the factors of the international business environment that the author considers to be of utmost importance for creating conditions and need for expanding the participation of national postal operators in international business. Based on established models for business environment analysis and taking into account the specific characteristics of this group of market players, factors at the macro, meso and micro levels are identified. An analysis of their impact is carried out, and the latter is illustrated with examples.
