Summary/Abstract: Risk management is an essential part of the management process of agricultural holdings in order to reduce the negative consequences of its eventual occurrence. For thisreason, a number of mechanisms are implemented to preserve agricultural income forensuring the normal production and good economic results. One of the most commonrisk minimization approaches is through diversification of production. The purpose of thepublication is to popose an analysis of risk management in the agricultural sector byapplying diversification , the results are based on theoretical part, methodological andanalysis of data from own research in the field of risk management.Risk management is an essential part of the management process of agricultural holdings in order to reduce the negative consequences of its eventual occurrence.
