Summary/Abstract: Abstract The main objective of this report is to analyze the management of the water sector in Bulgaria in the face of climate change. Unlike other sectors, the water sector is completely dependent on the availability of the resource that is most susceptible to change and uncertainty. Therefore, the focus of the research process is not only on managed water systems but also on climatic factors. The experience of another country from European Union in adapting the management of the water sector to climate change has been explored. The following methods and approaches have been used in the course of work: review of our and foreign literary sources, review of documents, methods of analysis and synthesis. Certain actions are proposed to adapt the process of managing of the water sector in our country
