Summary/Abstract: Competitiveness of countries is a phenomenon that depends on multiple factors, which play a basic role at economy markets and depends on the market segments that cater it and the developing industrial man. The European model for examining competitiveness accentuates on the link between the process of creating riches and the life standard and prosperity of a certain nation. At the beginning of the 21st century the concept of competitiveness means it being viewed as a way of improvement which doesn‘t lead to winners and losers, as a model of two sides that compete and the idea of the prosperity of both means both of them becoming stronger. Preparing yearly global reports about the competitiveness of countries is starting to play a bigger role as it presents their economical state and their positioning on the world markets. As a branch of economy, tourism is one of the means for improving competitiveness. The goal of this report is to analyze the conditions for the development of the offered MICE.
