Summary/Abstract: The world has changed. The digital innovations and the fourth industrial revolution, and their effect are expected to be mainly positive for the future social work organization. However, these transformations have not achieved any of the promises they wanted to deliver. Improvements for workers in terms of working conditions, work and working relationships cannot be determined by technical innovations themselves as technolog ical innovation always have a social form.
