CHALLENGES AND EFFECTS OF USING IT IN EDUCATION

Summary/Abstract: The use of IT tools in education has been approached in recent years as a complementary strategy to streamline the educational process. The year 2020 brought a radical paradigm shift in terms of education, the online school being the only solution for education for an indefinite period of time. The problem has become a general problem of society, appealing to resources that exceed the limits of the education system. Students, teachers, parents are the actors directly confronted with the challenges of online schooling. The study, conducted on the basis of a questionnaire, presents the opinions of 97 primary school students, 61 primary school teachers and 140 parents regarding the distance learning system. The difficulties encountered in adapting to the new way of organizing the school and the way they were felt are highlighted.
