Summary/Abstract: The new concept of STREAM education (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) is at the beginning of the road in Romanian education. In the specialized literature at international level we find references and, at the same time, we notice that there is a need for an integrated approach of as many disciplines as possible, not only those of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) but also the slow integration of Religion (STRREAM), History (STRREAMH), Geography (STRREAMHG) etc. At national level, the specialized literature for this field is almost non-existent. The implementation of a STEM curriculum should be a priority of Romanian education, because most future jobs require STEM skills for future employees. A questionnaire applied online in which 101 primary school teachers participated shows that they are eager to implement such a curriculum in the classroom.
