Summary/Abstract: The Syrian crisis is a global conflict that involve such multiple stakeholders as the Syrian government, groups of the armed opposition, Islamist groups and jihadists from around the world (including fighters from Central Asia), regional powers and global superpowers. At the same time, the Syrian crisis is a part of the Arab Spring. Formation of the so-called “Islamic State” (ISIS, or IS) and its expansion in the region complicated the situation even more.
