Summary/Abstract: The article examines the use of everyday space for artistic practice. The example discussed by the author is Teresa Tyszkiewicz’s performance “Day After Day” from 1980, within the frame of which she repeated the same activities in the flat space. The artist, using items of everyday use, builds a metaphor, changes their meaning and the flat itself.
