Summary/Abstract: The article contains a presentation of the coursebook "The Erasmus – Survival Course of Polish Language", designed to meet the needs of the participants of the 40-hour adaptation course, which has been traditionally organized at the University of Warsaw for many years. The authors outline the framework of their project, the assumptions of which fit into the general vision of a modern and student-friendly way of teaching foreign languages. Next, they discuss the content of the coursebook, language games and additional exercises placed on the Internet university platform campus.come.uw.edu.pl, and the evaluation of the survey results. They explain why preparing a coursebook correlated with the needs of learners is conducive to the internationalization of the university and popularization of the Polish language outside the country.
