Summary/Abstract: The article addresses a very important topic in the field of English grammar and is dedicated to teaching the main ways of expressing the need in English. Emphasis is placed on the status of modal verbs in English by providing an analysis of the modal verb must and its equivalents from the perspective of teaching in school. This article aims to identify methods and effective strategies that would facilitate the teaching and easier assimilation of this grammar during English classes.
