The main trend is the smart cities establishment, thus controlling lighting, traffic and envorement. The smart city systems development is based on modern information technologies - Internet of Things, wireless networks, big data and artificial intelligence. Therefore, the development of such system requires professional knowledge and skills. The design pattern use is facilitating the development process. The report examines design patterns that support the smart city development by introducing the experts experience and skills.
