Summary/Abstract: Russia’s aggression against Ukraine will affect the French economy in micro and macroeconomic terms. At the present stage of the conflict, most French companies, supported in their decisions by the government, do not plan to withdraw from Russia altogether, and a few have decided to suspend their activities or to make no further investments. Due to the long-term investment of capital in Russia, considered to be a promising emerging market despite international sanctions imposed since 2014, France will continue its bilateral economic cooperation while looking for new investment directions and strengthening its position on the global market.
