Summary/Abstract: Ukraine’s new long-term economic strategy sets an ambitious, yet probably unrealistic goal of doubling the country’s GDP by the end of the decade. It will require systemic reforms that go beyond economic issues and radically change the political system, characterised by a network of corrupt links between the worlds of politics and business. The current Ukrainian authorities lack the political will to pursue such far-reaching changes.
