Summary/Abstract: President Vladimir Putin’s constitutional changes are likely to be a means for him to stay in power after his term of office ends. He has not yet decided what function he will take after 2024. He is most likely to become chairman of the State Council, chairman of the Security Council or prime minister. The amendments to the Basic Law and the accompanying personnel reshuffle are intended to meet the social need for change. In the process of transforming the power system, Putin will be very active in foreign policy, including the intensification of disinformation campaigns against Poland.
