Short Description

"Amor Fati", publishing mainly humanistic (especially philosophical) peer-reviewed academic articles, was launched in January 2015. From the beginning of its activity, it has been publishing in print (ISSN: 2449-8807) and electronic version (ISSN: 2449-7819). Alongside with the journal"Amor Fati" there is an "Amor Fati Library", which publishes mainly authored and co-authored monographs and academic books in the form of printed publications and e-books with their own ISBNs. All the e-editions of the publications that have appeared within the "Amor Fati" activities are freely available online (the so-called open access, OA).

Submission guidelines

Guidelines for authors
Please insert the name of your affiliation submitting the article.

We accept original, never before published, scientific and surveying articles, polemics, essays, monograph chapters from 20 000 to 40 000 characters, including spaces, footnotes and bibliography.

There is a possibility for an article which contains more characters (however, the lower limit is fixed without the possibility of negotiations) to be accepted by the editorial board.

Text formats: .docx, .doc, .odt.

The text should include:

five keywords (please do not repeat the planned title of the issue as a keyword)
the character limit does not contain: a summary in English (about 150-400 words) [regarding monograph chapters the summary can be omitted]
as well as brief biographical note (a few sentences about oneself).
Editors reserve the right to reject texts, shorten, edit and make corrections.

Terms of publication (copyright)
The Author agrees to grant the publisher a non-exclusive license for his or her work for an indefinite period of time. In addition, the consent for publication is unequivocal with granting the publisher the right to issue the work in print and in electronic form ("open access"). The editorial team does not pay for the text, nor does it charge a fee.

Submitting a text to the "Amor Fati" journal or its "Amor Fati Library" is equivalent to a statement by the Author that one owns the copyright for the work, has not published it previously and not disseminated it in any form, also that it does not violate the other persons rights. Such declaration is necessary during publishing process.

In case of violation of this law (the Act of 4 February 1994 on copyright and related rights; Journal of Laws 1994, No. 24, item 83), the publisher or the journal are not liable to civil law. The author of such a publication undertakes full responsibility for the infringement and agrees to pay all costs associated with it.

Citations and annotations
Regarding the quotations and annotation, the decision of its highlighting is left to the author. It is important to apply the given style of citations and annotations consistently within a single text .

At the end of the text one must include a bibliography. Entries in the bibliography should be sorted alphabetically.
