Short Description
‘Многоликата наука – Disciplina Variabilis’ is an annual conference organized by the Department of Culture, Heritage and Tourism at the University of Library Studies and Information Technologies in Sofia, Bulgaria and aimed exclusively at doctoral students, postdoctoral researchers and young scholars. The forum strives at stimulating scientific and scholarly networking between doctoral and postdoctoral researchers in Bulgaria and abroad (with focus on Eastern and Southeastern Europe but not exclusively); enriching the scientific and scholarly understanding of cultural heritage, and enhancing the motivation of young researchers for further professional development in fields and activities related to cultural heritage and cultural tourism. The participants have the opportunity to present their theoretical or applied research on various aspects of the identification, documentation, protection, preservation, presentation and transmission of tangible and intangible cultural heritage in all its variety. Submitted papers are subject to a double-blind review process.
