Dilema – Weekly magazine of transition The magazine, which is a social and cultural weekly, was founded by Andrei Plesu in 1993 and shortly became a scene for intellectual debates. Each issue contains a six-page-file covering the most important cultural, social and political problems related to the transition period in Romania. It also addresses the recent developments in the fields of culture, politics, society, media, etc. Most of Dilema’s columnists are university professors, writers, political analysts and sociologists from Romania and abroad. Various themes are addressed equally and a great many number of opinions are offered on each topic. It stopped publishing in December 2003. The old editorial office founded DILEMA VECHE - "The Old Dilemma"
