The problems of: a minimal “black box” and a minimal autonomous system (a concept proposed by Marian Mazur) are considered. Some biological implications are considered, too. A generalization of the autonomous system is used to present simple quantitative aspects of joining and optimization of functioning of such systems. Basic energetic strategies employed by organisms to prevent degeneration of their bodies are listed: extension, transformation of structure, rejecting worn out body parts.

: Since cuisine is a vehicle for the core values of any society, the true foundation of identity and alterity, it is not surprising to find it in many Romanian fantastic tales. In the present paper we focus on some of the most representative elements of traditional cuisine in our tales and discuss the relationship between their textual representations or manifestations and their social, ideological, and cultural contexts in order to identify possible frameworks / or schemes in which they are placed and determine to what extent one can speak of adaptations to new gastronomic socio-cultural realities. It appears that the gastronomic praxis in our Romanian fantastic tales points to significant ethnological features.

The restore operation is trying to cancel damages produced in time, where possible, until the chemical processes are restored, having regard to, for this purpose, both aesthetic and scientific aspects. Scientific examination offers an important aid in choosing appropriate treatment and provide information relating to the marking and the authenticity of the object. For the textiles the technical, special feature fabrics and the colors used may be decisive in determining age, provenance and authenticity of the object. Saxon needlework of the 19th century has benefited from a comprehensive approach, and by rehabilitating its degraded structure and re-establishing its image the original message is brought back.

The paper presents the systemic and legal disparities of private towns. Most emphasis is placed on the differences of criminal proceedings in royal and private townsand on determining whether these disparities were significant enough for the criminal process in private towns to be considered a separate manner of criminal proceeding. In case of the former, the municipal judiciary was often subject to interventions from starosts or other “third-party” entities. A characteristic feature of the legal system of private towns, on the other hand, was the influence of their owners on the municipal judiciary and their participation in each stage of criminal proceedings. The paper also discusses the extent to which the owners interfered with the operation of the municipal legal system.

The process or a system of creating connection between two electrical conductive materials is referred to as heat bonding. In this case it is correct to call it micro bonding. Essential characteristics of this process are pressing two materials together and applying heat. Similar processes are used to create connections to LCDs (Liquid crystal displays) or PCB. This paper discusses copper wire bonding technology to a thin metal layer made on dielectric sheet for micro coils.

The celebration of the centenary of the Italian Unification was a first opportunity for the Communist leadership of the Romanian People’s Republic to re-establish contacts with cultural and academic media in Italy. 1959 was the year that marked the starting point. Being familiar with the events that took place a century ago enabled reputed Romanian historians build a dialogue which would lead to joint projects in the historiographical domain. The academician Andrei Oțetea, director of the Institute of History of the RPR Academy, was given the mission to travel to the main academic centers in Italy with the purpose of identifying historical sources about the Romanian people’s past and specialists willing to contribute to the improvement of the dialogue between the two countries. The Italian Risorgimento was a favorable pretext to take advantage of the political detente in Moscow. The Romanian authorities’ reaction came amid the more active presence of Hungarian intellectuals in the academic centers of the capitalist states. The reluctant manner in which the Romanian delegates were welcomed indicated the extent of the rupture from a cultural space to which the cultivated environments in Romania had been strongly attached until the establishment of the communist regime.

The new Slovak president illustrates that an alternative to Central European populism is politically viable. But her power is tamed by constitutional limits and the lasting and deep political polarisation between liberal democrats and conservative nationalists. The latter can particularly bar her allies from building a stable government after the February 2020 parliamentary elections.
