The new issue of the newsletter through ACCESS to JUSTICE features an interview with the Swiss ambassador to Serbia and Montenegro, Mr. Jean-Daniel Ruh, and an author's text by the director of the Center for Practical Politics, Dragan Popović. The seventh issue of the newsletter conveys the experiences of Croatia, which directed part of its efforts during the negotiations on accession to the European Union to the improvement of prosecution for war crimes. The request to include these issues in reform processes in the area of the rule of law came to Croatia from the European Union, as standards that must be met before joining the community of European states. This is written by Kristian Turkalj, negotiator for Chapters 23 and 24 of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Croatia. In the third issue of the newsletter, through ACCESS TO JUSTICE, read about EU legislative solutions in the area of victims' rights and the inevitable alignment of domestic regulations with their provisions for countries that aspire to EU membership. Although it seems that this area has not found its place in the process of negotiations on Serbia's accession to the EU, the director of the British non-governmental organization Redress Carla Ferstman believes that it will necessarily become part of the negotiation material.
