Shaping the Attitudes to Music Folklore in the Youth (The Chosen Aspects of the Research in the Context of School Practice)

The research into the attitudes to folklore in the youth was conducted in 14-15-year old, and partly 16-year-old youth at elementary schools and grammar schools in nine Moravian localities. The method of musically-aesthetic experiment was used with the employment of music (sound) questionnaire technique. The choice of the respondents file was done according to age criteria, type of the school, geographic location, demographic and cultural specifics of the locality. The research definitely proved that the opinion on the folklore samples in the youth was significantly differentiated; as expected, the differences appeared according to the basic viewpoint – whether the young people are educated to perceive music folklore or not. It was proved that without the educational influence of a personality who would encourage the interest in folklore the opinions of the youth are mainly negative. The value tendencies were not too dependent on the activity of the local or regional tradition. Their positive shift was recorded in the members of children folklore ensembles, instrumentalists from elementary schools of art and secondary school students.

Ridley Scott’ın Bıçak Sırtı Filminde İnsan Arayışı

Ridley Scott’ın yönettiği Bıçak Sırtı (Blade Runner 1982) bilimkurgu türünde önemli eserler vermiş olan Philip K. Dick’in Androidler Elektrikli Koyun Düşler mi? (Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? 1968) romanından uyarlanmıştır. Film, 2019 Londra’sında distopik bir evrende geçer. Filmin yalnızca son sahnesi haricinde hiç güneş ışığı görünmez. Bu sebeple tüm film karanlık bir evrende geçen olaylar bütünü olarak değerlendirilebilir. Sürekli yağan yağmur, neon ışıklar, kitleler halinde gezen insanlar da bu karanlığa eklenince filmde sunulan distopik dünya tasviri güçlenmektedir. Filmin başlangıcında Tyrell şirketinin Nexus 6 kopyaları-nın üretimiyle birlikte robot devrimini gerçekleştirdiği bilgisi verilir. Bu kopyalar “kendilerini yaratan genetik mühendislerinden güç ve çeviklik anlamında üstün ve en az onlar kadar zeki’’ olarak üretilmiştir (Blade Runner 02:10-02:50). Üretilen bu kopyaların dünya dışı gezegenlerin kolonileştirilmesi için köle olarak kullanılması filmdeki insan-kopya ilişkisini çözümlemek adına önemlidir. Bu duruma isyan eden Nexus 6 kopyaları illegal bir şekilde dünyaya giriş yaptıkları için polis memuru Rick Deckard bu kopyaların peşine düşer. Deckard’ın görevi, zamanı geldiğinde bu kopyaları “emekliye ayırmak’’ (retire) yani öldürmektir (Blade Runner 02:48- 02:50). Filmin terminolojisinde kopyaları öldürmenin emekliye ayırmak ile eş tutulması kopyaların varoluş amacının insan merkezli kapitalist sistemin ön gördüğü düzende çalışmak olduğunu ima eder. Böyle bir sistemde kopya olarak var olmak ancak insan faydasına çalışmakla özdeş olabilir. Aksi takdirde, insanların perspektifinden kopyaların var olmasına gerek yoktur.

This text offers two “snapshots” of Plovdiv's Kapana district, read through the senses, with a focus on the soundscape and visual perceptions. One concerns the time from the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century, and the other - the 80s of the 20th century. Both written sources of different nature and memories (including visual, i.e. photographs) were used. A conclusion is drawn that the place fulfills the main functions of a public space in both considered periods and an interest in continuing the research through the prism of intersensitivity is put forward.

Această selecție a fost realizată încercând de a schița o idee sau mai degrabă, de a surprinde un spirit, spiritul Europei Centrale. Am apelat astfel la textele marilor autori. Ei au desigur primul cuvânt. Fragmentele sunt alese deopotrivă din opere de ficțiune, memorialistice, eseistice sau programatice; Kakania romanescă a lui Musil, manifestul politic/cultural al lui Milan Kundera, memoriile înflăcărate ale lui Stefan Zweig. Un tablou compozit, susceptibil de a fi eclectic : opinii diverse, lansate în momente diferite, de pe poziții la fel de diferite. Premisa noastră este însă căfiecare dintre ei invocă de două ori Europa Centrală. O dată, ni se vorbește despre ea, ca obiect al reflecției sau al evocării literare, a doua oară, în spiritul ei, ca exponent al unei matrici culturale vagi, dar care poate conferi unitate acestei diversități.

Tradicionalna i kulturna tolerancija na nasilje nad ženama: primjer Crne Gore

Nasilje nad ženama kao društveni problem, star koliko i samo društvo, proizašao je iz osnova socijalne strukture utemeljene na polugama patrijarhata. Analiza društveno-istorijskih okvira u Crnoj Gori pokazuje da nasilje nad ženama donedavno nije shvaćeno kao problem koji treba rješavati, jer u našoj patrijarhalnoj kulturi vladaju duboko ukorijenjeni stereotipi o rodnim ulogama koji direktno izražavaju autoritet muškaraca nad ženama. Iako prilično zadovoljavajuć pravni okvir, s izvjesnim propustima i prostorima za poboljšanje, problem nasilja nad ženama zadržao se i do danas. Istraživanja govore u prilog rodno zasnovanom nasilju, seksualnom nasilju nad ženama, diskriminaciji žena i nejednakim uslovima u različitim sferama života, brojnim mizoginim i seksističkim komentarima s kojima se svakodnevno susreću žene u crnogorskom društvu, te femicidima kao najdrastičnijim produktima nasilja nad ženama i narušenih odnosa moći između polova. Cilj ovoga rada je da prikaže kako su stereotipi o rodnim ulogama, patrijarhalno nasljeđe i drugi kulturni i društveni postulati, utičući i na pravno uređenje države, kreirali pogodnu klimu za stvaranje i održavanje u životu problema nasilja nad ženama do danas.

This article proposes the perception of the „other“ as a response to cultural diversity related to the idea of multiculturalism. In historical perspective and the intensifying globalization processes creating the concept of cultural inequalities are the focus of this article. The geographical location of the Balkans and the instability of the international scene address „collective diversity“ and are a prerequisite for cultural, social and identity continuity. In support of the in-depth analysis on the topic, I conclude with data from a national survey, summarizing the reasons for social distance and discontinuity from of the Bulgarian population compared to the refugees.

Balkánský rozměr české zahraniční politiky

Žádná událost z balkánské agendy neměla na české politické scéně takovou odezvu jako vyhlášení nezávislosti Kosova a její uznání vládou ČR. V politice vůči Balkánu zaujímá česká politická scéna víceméně konsenzuální postoje a konsenzus v zásadě panuje i mezi postoji na politické scéně a zahraniční politikou. Uznání Kosova znamenalo naopak výraznou trhlinu mezi zahraniční politikou a většinou politické scény – uznání nemělo jasnou a jednoznačnou podporu žádné parlamentní politické strany a bylo do značné míry osobním dílem ministra zahraničních věcí Karla Schwarzenberga. Ačkoli Kosovo vyvolalo na politické scéně poměrně živou diskusi, její průběh nenasvědčoval tomu, že by měla být trvale významná, ani že by byla projevem rostoucího zájmu české politické scény o Balkán. Na další zahraničněpolitické události spojené s Balkánem – přizvání zemí západního Balkánu do NATO a k posílenému dialogu s NATO, vývoj vnitropolitické situace v Srbsku, podpis dohod o přidružení zbývajících balkánských států k EU – reagovala česká politika s výjimkou KSČM v podstatě konsenzuálně, avšak nijak výrazně.

The Cultural Dimension of the Czech Foreign Policy

From one point of view, foreign cultural policy covers a cultural dimension of foreign policy on both bilateral and multilateral levels, and it belongs to the area of traditional diplomatic relations, thematically coming under the area of culture. The very visible means used in this dimension include mostly bilateral agreements on cultural cooperation. From another point of view, foreign cultural policy means cultural diplomacy, which can be seen as a part of public diplomacy and its practice. It is orientated mainly on a foreign public and wants to present the country’s own culture to other states and their public while creating a positive image of the state abroad through cultural activities. Such an image can help to achieve other political priorities precisely via helping to create a positive image and good reputation for the given country on the international scene.

Spojené státy americké v české zahraniční politice

„Vlády se v našich zemích mění, někdy se zaměřujeme na jiné cíle nebo máme jiné priority, ale naše partnerství je pevné a trvalé. Nesmí být a nebude oslabeno žádnou rozdílností v našich pohledech,“ vyjádřil svůj pohled na americké vztahy v půli roku prezident Václav Klaus. Shrnul tak základní rámec vnímání relace mezi Českou republikou a Spojenými státy, vlastní převážné části domácích politických elit: přesvědčení o trvajícím významu těchto vztahů, zejména v bezpečnostní oblasti, jen dílem mírněné kontinentalistickými instinkty vlastními z parlamentních stran především ČSSD (a popírané izolacionisty v KSČM). Zároveň však jeho slova poukazují na jisté pnutí. U prezidenta samotného byly rozdíly vnímány především v kontextu ekonomických opatření prováděných Obamovou administrativou, které byly značně vzdáleny jeho liberálním ekonomickým postojům. Pnutí však bylo pociťováno, z poněkud odlišných důvodů, i jistou částí českých politických a byrokratických elit s atlantistickými sklony. „Že se změnila naše pozice vůči Spojeným státům změnou [administrativy], změnou americké strategie, větším zájmem o [pacifický] bazén než o atlantický prostor, je ovšem taky pravda,“ charakterizoval tuto pozici ministr zahraničních věcí Karel Schwarzenberg.

Kulturní rozměr české zahraniční politiky

Ve srovnání s rokem 2009, kdy Česká republika předsedala Evropské unii a kdy se tomuto kontextu přizpůsobily všechny složky naší zahraniční politiky – tedy i agenda kulturní, se rok 2010 jevil jako jisté utlumení, pokles intenzity kulturní spolupráce a návrat do zajetých kolejí. České předsednictví nicméně napomohlo vytvoření nových mechanismů spolupráce mezi zainteresovanými aktéry prezentace ČR v zahraničí a představovalo i novou zkušenost z hlediska obsahové struktury našeho vnějšího kulturního působení. V tomto kontextu lze rok 2011 považovat za období, kdy vzniká řada nových impulzů na koncepční úrovni. Uplynulý rok je proto z hlediska kulturní dimenze české zahraniční politiky předznamenáním významných změn v této agendě, které jsou obsaženy ve dvou základních dokumentech. Oba mají dopady na oblast kulturního působení v zahraničí. V prvním případě se jedná o nastavení zahraničněpolitického rámce, o zahraniční politiku jako celek (v roce 2011 byla vypracována nová Koncepce zahraniční politiky ČR), ve druhém případě o činnost Českých center – hlavního aktéra vnější prezentace ČR (v roce 2011 byla připravena nová Strategie Českých center na léta 2012–2015).

Kulturní rozměr české zahraniční politiky

Pro kulturní rozměr české zahraniční politiky představoval rok 2010 období, zčásti charakterizované určitým útlumem, zejména ve srovnání s intenzivní činností a množstvím kulturních projektů realizovaných v období českého předsednictví v Radě Evropské unie. Zároveň však probíhala další z mimořádných akcí, a to česká účast na Světové výstavě EXPO 2010 v Šanghaji. Tuto událost je také možné označit jako jeden z vrcholů činnosti v oblasti kultury v uplynulém roce. Paralelně ovšem probíhala celá řada dalších projektů a akcí, zaměřených na posílení obrazu České republiky v zahraničí a rozvoj jejích kulturních kontaktů.
