Between the 10th and 13th of November 2021, Iași hosted the National Conference “Prevention in Psychiatry – A Biopsychosocial approach”, organised by Socola Psychiatry Institute Iași in collaboration with “Grigore T. Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy Iași and the College of Physicians Iași. The event, part of the traditional “The Days of Socola Psychiatry Institute” took place online throughout four days, enjoying the presence of over 300 specialists across the country (psychiatrists, physicians of various specialties, and psychologists).

Împlinirea unui secol și jumătate de la nașterea lui N. Iorga a fost marcată de o suită de manifestări științifice, expoziționale, editoriale și educative care au reliefat aspecte din bogata și multilaterala sa activitate timp de peste cinci decenii. Toate acestea au urmărit să-l readucă în actualitate pe savant și opera sa de dimensiuni neobișnuite, să-l reimpună, dacă este permisă o astfel de exprimare, atenției generațiilor mai tinere pentru care Iorga este, eventual, un portret într-un manual de istorie.

The scientific session Alma Mater Sucevensis is placed under the auspices of „Stefan cel Mare” University of Suceava, within the events dedicated to the anniversary of its founding. From the very beginning, the organizers undertook the task of establishing a working platform for the free exchange of ideas and opinions. The meeting of 5–6 March 2021 (held online for the first time in its history) provided an optimal framework for both the research results presentation and the subsequent methodological and conceptual debates. The five sections (archeology, history and international relations) brought together 60 contributors from Romania, Ukraine, Republic of Moldova and Germany and 48 communications. Discussions focused on the modalities of investigation and research, documentary sources and testimonies, methodological and historiographical dilemmas. All the contributions illustrated the significance of the interpretive-documentary approach of history in its multiple hypostases.
