Throughout history, Indians and Persians have taken part in the same scene in different fields. Persian and Hindi, the main branches of the Indo-European Languages, have been interacting before and after Islam. During the period, when India was ruled by the Turkish sultans, many Iranians either migrated to India or were invited by the palace and stayed in the Indian lands for the rest of their lives. The palace supported Persian language and therefore Persian kept its vitality in the region until the occupation of the British. Persian was admired by the Turkish or Indian poets and became the literary language of the lower continent, in addition to the Hindi and Urdu. nIn this regard, the important poets who writes in Persian are the main subjects of our study. As known, Ebu Abdullah Nüketi is an important figure in this context, but there are not many sources about his life and works. For this reason, our study focus on lives and works of two other important poets; Abu’l-Faraj Runî ve Mas’ûd Sâd-ı Salmân.
