This article aims to unveil, as much as possible, both the desastrous situation of today’s Romanian higher education human resources, as well as that of the scintific research which is weak and non-promising. This paper presents several of the main phenomena of the Romanian academic environment, while highlighting the significantly low standards of the academic human resources. Furthermore, certain aspects which led to this situation are also analized. This analysis ends with a few possible sollutions which may lead, on the medium and long term, to a significant improvement in the human resources of the Romanian academis system, while also generating the beginning of a real “healing” of the entire Romanian higher education.

One of the requirements set forth by the „cultural opposition" to the Communist regime in the 1980s was the de-idealisation present within the school system and the change of curricula set for the humanities and social-science subjects, which were too uncritical in their praise of Josip Broz Tito and the Communist rule period. The change that followed this requirement is also evident through a comparison of 20th century history textbooks. Among other things, the representation of Josip Broz Tito and his era in Slovenian textbooks underwent a significant change. In textbooks published during the Communist rule, Tito and the Communists were described in glorifying tones, while the crimes they committed after taking the power were left unmentioned and became taboo. The role of the Communist Party and Tito was also over-emphasised in relation to earlier periods, when neither actually played any significant political part As a result, most Slovenes believed that the Communist Party became the most important and influential political party in the Slovenian territory as early as the inter-war period when, in actual fact, it was at that time a peripheral and insignificant illegal party. In relation to the time after WWII, Tito was depicted as a great leader chosen by the people. Tito’s depiction as a great leader achieved its highest levels in textbooks published in the years following his death. In textbooks published after 1990, Tito and the Communists depicted in the period prior to WWII are featured only by way of exception. When presenting his rise to power during and after the war, the merits of the Liberation Movement are emphasised along with the flaws of the Communist authorities in relation to the terrorizing of their opponents and those with different views. Neither is the period marked by Communist rule presented in a uniform manner. Its modernisation and the differences with Communist regimes in other Eastern European countries are emphasised, as well as the negative consequences of the Communists’ political monopoly which manifested, for example, in Slovenia’s economy lagging behind its western neighbours, or in Tito’s cult of personality. The level of criticism towards the Communist regime increases as we move further away chronologically from its fall. Together with Hitler and Stalin, Josip Broz Tito remains one of the people that were most frequently mentioned people in the 20th century. Compared with them, however, Tito and his era are not denoted as uniformly negative. Compared to the textbooks dating from the period of the Communist rule, Tito is certainly represented much more realistically nowadays.

In the paper author shares various ideas and advices for using ecofeminist approaches from kindergarten to primary and secondary education and universities. The basic idea is link between ecofeminism and its values as nature protection, gender equality, critical thinking of capitalism, labor rights with education, school subjects, projects and problem — based learning. Ecofeminism should be included in different school subjects in technology, sciences, engineering and art because it is holistic and inclusive approach.

Data on demographic trends in developed countries indicate the need for increased attention and a better approach to care for older adults. Better health care results in increased life expectancy, which as such poses certain challenges to society. Life expectancy accompanied by good health alone often does not guarantee an individual’s satisfaction. Due to an accelerating pace of life and continuous lifestyle changes, social exclusion of retired older adults from the community appears to be increasingly present. To reduce the occurrence of this phenomenon and enable this population group to remain active members of the community, it is important to offer them the opportunity for education. After the analysis of European trends, the paper points out the need for continuous strategic planning and more agile organization of education in the Republic of Croatia. Special attention is given to the situation in the city of Osijek, which is a center for education in Osijek-Baranja County. The types and usefulness of the most common forms of education conducted in the period from 2015 to 2020 are also presented.

Pismenost je jedna od osnovnih pretpostavki razvoja svakog pojedinca i svakog društva. Podaci koji nam dolaze iz pregleda i analiza međunarodnih organizacija poput UN-a, UNESCO-a, OECD-a, EU ukazuju na zakonitost obrnute proporcionalnosti: što je niži obuhvat djece i mladih obrazovanjem, i što je stopa pismenosti stanovništva niža, to je stopa nezaposlenosti i ukupne nerazvijenosti društva veća. Višestruko je potvrđena tijesna povezanost između ekonomskog i socio-kulturnog razvoja i obrazovanja, ukazivanjem na vezu između prosječno dostignutog nivoa obrazovanosti koje stanovništvo jedne zemlje posjeduje i zapošljivosti, produktivnosti, ukupnog standarda i sl. Obrazovan se pojedinac svojim znanjem znatno uspješnije snalazi u intenzivnim promjenama koje donose društvene, ekonomske, kulturne, naučne, informacijsko-tehnološke, migracijske i sve druge promjene savremenog života. Statistički pokazatelji nedvojbeno ukazuju na logiku da što je viši nivo obrazovanja to je niža stopa nezaposlenosti I niži postotak onih koji se teško snalaze u društvenim tokovima i promjenama. Analiziranje statističkih podataka vezanih za obrazovanje i obrazovanost stanovništva u jednoj zemlji doprinosi jasnijoj spoznaji ukupnih društvenih mogućnosti i određivanju glavnih strateških ciljeva razvoja humanog kapitala. Ovaj rad zasnovan na proučavanju i obradi statističkih pokazatelja dobivenih nakon objavljenih rezultata popisa stanovništva BiH1 polovinom 2016. godine teži da predstavi realnu sliku obrazovanosti stanovništva u BiH i ukaže na najvažnije prednosti na koje se treba oslanjati u razvojnim projektima, ali i moguće nedostatke i probleme koje treba ubrzanije otklanjati.

Rodno utemeljeno nasilje predstavlja bilo koji modalitet nasilja nad nekom osobom samo zbog njene/njegove pripadnosti određenome rodu. Provodi se uporabom tjelesne ili psihičke sile i uključuje: tjelesno i verbalno zlostavljanje, seksualni napad ili uznemiravanje, silovanje, incest, pedofiliju, kontrolu društvenih kontakata, manipulacije, ekonomsku i obrazovnu deprivaciju i druge oblike zlostavljanja.

Za prepoznavanje i pravilan tretman vršnjačkog nasilja je potrebno razlikovati tri pojma: ljutnju, agresiju i nasilje. Ljutnja je potpuno normalna i zdrava ljudska emocija. Kada izmakne kontroli, pretvara se u bijes i postaje destruktivna te može prouzrokovati brojne probleme u odnosima s ljudima. Osobe obuzete bijesom ponekad imaju doživljaj da ljutnja upravlja njima i njihovim životom.

Cilj ovog rada bio je istražiti odnos dva procesa: odgojno-obrazovne socijalizacije i globalizacije. Obzirom da globalizacija doprinosi mnogim promjenama uključujući i promjene u odgoju i obrazovanju, rad je detektovao stanje rodne ravnopravnosti u obiteljskom odgoju i obrazovnom sistemu. Pregled literature predstavlja metodu sintetiziranja rezultata različitih istraživanja kako bi se pružili uvidi u fenomen globalizacije odgoja i obrazovanja te otkrila područja koja zahtijevaju dodatna istraživanja. Rad daje pregled definicije globalizacije u kontekstu odgoja i obrazovanja, odnos odgoja i rodne ravnopravnosti, karakteristike rodne socijalizacije u obiteljskom odgoju kao i pojavnost rodne stereotipizacije u obrazovanju. Glavni zaključci rada ističu uticaj globalizacija na različite sfere društva: politiku, ekonomiju, obrazovanje, odgoj, kulturu, rodnu ravnopravnost, itd. Međutim, globalizacija nije doprinijela rodnoj ravnopravnosti u obiteljskom odgoju niti u sistemu obrazovanja. Ponašanja koja učimo od obitelji, u ranom djetinjstvu utiču na ponašanja tokom odrastanja, stoga je neophodno modelirati ona ponašanja koja propagiraju jednakopravnost među rodovima. Nakon internalizovanja vrijednosti iz obitelji, djeca nastavljaju procese učenja u obrazovnom sistemu. Rodna neravnopravnost je uočljiva u udžbenicima, u stavovima koje nastavnici i nastavnice prenose djeci kao i u uređenju prostorija u kojima borave dječaci i u kojima borave djevojčice. Odnosno, obrazovanje samo dodatno potvrđuje većinu normativa iz obitelji.

Outdoor teaching is definitely not a product of nowadays. It has appeared in the school curriculum of several subjects for more than 100 years. The presented methodology does not primarily deal with the name origin of that teaching form, and thus we define it for the purposes of the presented publication as follows (Hofmann et al., 2003, p. 7; Svobodová et al., 2019): “Outdoor education can be defined as an “integrating” term denoting various forms of education with the outdoor setting of their common unifying feature. Outdoor education can take various organisational forms, from a walk, a field excursion or field exercise to a several-day school trip or residential outdoor school. Depending on the objectives and used teaching methods the pupils can be passive listeners and observers as well as researchers actively collecting and processing information from primary and secondary sources, with the help of research methods and aids offered by the individual science disciplines.“

Lipnice nad Sázavou is a historical municipality, formerly a town in the Havlíčkův Brod District in the Vysočina Region. It is located at an altitude of 580m above sea level on the dominant landscape ridge on the border of middle and upper Posázaví. The municipality was founded at the beginning of the 14th century and has a rich history associated with the dominant feature of the village - Lipnice Castle. The castle was the residence of important aristocratic families, especially in the Middle Ages, and the townlet under the castle provided the economic background of the castle

Výzkum recepce literárního díla dětským čtenářem zahrnuje množství metodologických přístupů, kterými je možné tento fenomén zkoumat. Každé dítě vyžaduje svůj specifický způsob vyjádření, jenž je pro něj vlastní a přirozený. Jedním z možných výzkumných nástrojů při výzkumu recepce dětského čtenářství je neodmyslitelně skupinová diskuze, nabízející otevřený prostor pro vyjádření. Tento nástroj přinesl řadu významných informací konkretizujících vnímání a přijetí literárního díla dětským čtenářem. Cílem příspěvku je nabídnout čtenáři dílčí výsledky výzkumu dětského čtenářství, a to na základě využité výzkumné metody skupinové diskuze. Výzkumné aktivity jsou součástí disertačního projektu autora příspěvku zaměřeného na identifikaci dítěte mladšího školního věku s literárním a divadelním dílem. Příspěvek předkládá výsledky skupinové diskuze z hodin čtení literárního díla Lewise Carrolla Za zrcadlem a co tam Alenka našla, provedeného u žáků třetí třídy základní školy.

This study aims to provide an insight into the current research of the development of the self-assessment skill, focusing on tertiary students of English. The study poses the following questions: How is self-assessment defined in the selected research papers? What are the most common aims and methods of the selected research papers? What are the essential findings of the selected research papers? The selected research papers show that the development of the self-assessment skill has a positive effect on the overall language acquisition. Research into the actual process of the development of self-assessment skills is still scarce.

Lipnice nad Sázavou je historická obec, dříve město, v okrese Havlíčkův Brod, v Kraji Vysočina. Je položená ve výšce 580 m n. m. na dominantní krajinné vyvýšenině na pomezí středního a horního Posázaví. Obec byla založena na počátku 14. století a má bohatou historii spojenou s dominantou obce – hradem Lipnicí. Hrad byl zejména ve středověku sídlem významných šlechtických rodů a podhradní městečko bylo hospodářským zázemím hradu.

Nikdy dříve se v umění nevěnovalo tolik pozornosti dětskému projevu jako ve dvacátém století. Průkopníci moderny, jako byl například Pablo Picasso, obdivovali své kolegy, kteří si v tvorbě dokázali zachovat spontánnost a opravdovost. Picasso například ctil Henriho Rousseaua. Malíř, jehož tvorba se přímo označuje jako naivní umění, tvořil s tak živým a opravdovým zaujetím, že se bál tygra, kterého namaloval v džungli.

Remedial Physical Education (RPE) in the context of education is a school subject focused on promoting health and developing physical literacy in children with special educational needs (SEN). The subject RPE has more than seventy-years long tradition in Czech Republic and support in legislation and the Framework Educational Program. However, despite the emphasis on the importance of supporting children with SEN, the number of schools that offer this subject is declining. For systemic change, it is extremely important to carefully analyze factors leading to this situation. These include, e.g. possibility to exempt pupils from physical education classes, organizational demands and nonenforcement of the provision of SEN, insufficient preparation of future teachers, the outdated paradigm of the field, and negative attitudes of students and parents to physical education in schools.

The Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) organized by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), in addition to giving us an insight into the assessment of knowledge and skills of fifteen-year-olds around the world, also shows us that the countries that achieve the best results are located in different regions and parts of the world, and sometimes they have completely different cultures. The goal of this paper is to show how and in what way the education system works in South Korea, which for the last ten years has been at the very top of the most successful education systems in the world. In the paper, the authors present the structure and organization of the educational system, and their characteristics, but also shed light on the dilemma of what is actually the secret of the success of their educational system.
