Combined class includes department that is composed of students from two, three, four or five classes with only one teacher who teaches at the same time. At one time the concept of a combined class was determined as one-class school, undivided school, and today this term is used as the undivided school or lower organized school. The combined classes have developmentally heterogeneous group of students, and educational activities with them are realized by one teacher who should take into account the integration of curriculum contents to ensure the best possible dynamics of daily and weekly rhythm and students' burden. This paper presents some forms of the curriculum integration in B/C/S language and literature in the combined class that can be used as a model for teachers to organize instruction and the achievement of defined learning outcomes in the linguistic-communication area.

The article presents the problem of the progressive ageing of societies, which highly developed countries have been tackling already since the mid-20th century. The author describes the way elderly people are perceived by the rest of society and the possibility of rendering aid and support to them by their closest environment and by public institutions. The most important needs and expectations of the elderly have also been listed. Attention has been drawn to the need of self-development throughout one’s lifetime, not excluding old age, and to the growing necessity to lead an active life in one’s post-productive period.

The article is about best practice description of the program called “Colorful World of Talents”. This program is realized by the Centre of Information and the Professional Career Planning in Gorzów Wlkp. The main aim of the description is dissemination of the initiative and inspiring other institutions providing the career support for similar unconventional actions. The article describes the realization of the project how to make the primary schools’ first-year pupils and their tutors more sensitive to the need of knowledge development in the scope of local profession and other professional activities.
