The contemporary antipoverty campaign in People’s Republic of China

Summary/Abstract: In 2015 the UN general assembly adopted a document about the tasks of the World community until 2030. The target "To put on end of the poverty everywhere in all its forms" was raised as the most important one. In 2017 the political and state leadership in China accepted decision to start decisive campaign to eradicate the poverty with the participation of all state, communal and public institutions. The Red Cross society of China was the most active among the other humanitarian organizations in the country. The work, applied forms, successes achieved by the CRCS and prospects in the future were elaborated in the article.
