Summary/Abstract: The challenges the universities face refer not only to building their prestige butalso to preparing their future graduates for a smooth transition onto the labour market. Socialcompetences are crucial for the process and often determine the result of job interviews. Thuswe need to take up a selective approach towards students because it is becoming important fromthe structural perspective and/or the development of their competences. One of the measuresto achieve the goal is to identify students’ professional predispositions and types. The articlefocuses on selecting leaders and shows the correlation between their number and the quality ofleadership competences.
