EMERGENCY APPROACH TO OCCUPATIONAL ACCIDENTS: PENETRATING INJURY IN THE IRON-STEEL INDUSTRY

Summary/Abstract: To determine the work that can be done in order to prevent time loss in occupational accidents that require urgent intervention. The loss of time in the work accident that occurred in the iron and steel industry was found to be higher than the cases without similar work accidents. The reasons for this delay were investigated and discussed with suggestions. It is thought that it is necessary to regularly give in-service training and emergency response and first aid training to the occupational health and safety team together with the employees in order to make the fastest and most appropriate interventions to work accidents that may develop despite the precautions taken.
