Summary/Abstract: Voiculescuis preoccupied with the reunification of the human being at a higher existential level, respectively a fusion with the universal spirit, the aspiration towards Divinity. The writer resumes the biblical episode of the New Testament and gives the story of the same title a dimension that includes aspects of a primordial Christianity, but also elements of a pre-Christian esoteric tradition. Virgin Mary embodies all Christian virtues (faith, hope and love), becoming over the centuries a model of the female Archetype. The condition of femininity changes its coordinates, starting with the Virgin Mary, who presents an ideal of the feminine, marked by the holiness and obedience she showed, being associated with the body of Christ and with the Church.
