Challenges related to Open Source in the intelligence activity

Summary/Abstract: Taking into consideration the permanent changes regarding the structure, the content and the way of reaching the objectives by using the open sources of information, the need for quick adaptation of the intelligence agencies to the new realities is obvious. In a time characterized by constant and complex informational aggressions, executed by different strategic actors, the education of the target audience has a crucial role in achieving a high level of its resilience to hybrid actions. Open sources remain a continuous challenge for intelligence agencies, both in terms of monitoring hostile entities and identifying authors/participants.
