Summary/Abstract: Translation is the process of converting words or text from one language into another, but it is not always as simple or literal as it seems. Confirmation that translators are first and foremost creative performers, and a clearer picture of what occurs in translation, comes into focus when the bibliographic resources are analysed. The study examines the stages in creative translation and investigates the creative process.
