Summary/Abstract: Knjaževac (until 1859 Gurgusovac) is a town in the eastern Serbia, situated where the Trgoviški and the Svrljiški Timok merge into the Beli Timok. In the present paper, after a geographical and historical introduction, the complete microtoponymy of its urban area is collected and alphabetically listed. It consists of different chronological strata which span over centuries, from the early days of Turkish rule to the contemporaneous name-giving (e. g. street or store names).
