THE TOPONYMY OF THE WESTERN PART OF KNJAŽEVAC MUNICIPALITY

Summary/Abstract: The paper presents toponomastic data collected in the highlands between the river Svrljiški Timok and Bučjanska, to the west of the East Serbian town of Knjaževac. Poorly investigated so far, the area contains twenty-one villages. Carried out in 2008 with the support of the Onomastic committee of SASA, the author's fieldwork resulted in a collection of data that are presented here separately for each village, preceeded by introductory note on its geography and history.
