Managing the production process of a group of agricultural farms in the Pomorze and Mazury region and their economic developmen

Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is an application of the method which enables the maximization of the volume of output on agricultural farms. The research was based on the Pomorze and Mazury region, which was selected after the analysis of the level of gross output, final output and commodity production. For the sake of the study, a group of farms specializing in field crops was selected, using data for 2004-2009, made available by the Polish FADN. The method used for the production optimization is the method of the Lagrange multipliers.
