Summary/Abstract: The article presents non-fungible tokens or NFTs and generative art as elements and forms of expression that are increasingly used nowadays to express artistic creation or vision. The registries used worldwide, such as Ethereum or Bitcoin, each have a set of standards governing the use of NFTs, the first NFTs being used in 2015 in the Ethereum blockchain register, nowadays the NFTs being qualified as „a new form of art in the blockchain system” and at the incredible performance of being sold at a record price of $ 69 million through Christie's auction house. Like artificial intelligence (AI), generative art causes us to reflect on the classical theory of copyright, „humanizing" to some extent the creation and the creator, whether the latter is a natural person or a computer or another machine.
